Booking a reserve item

Reserve items are available for one hour loan during the library opening hours or can be borrowed on overnight loan. Overnight loans can be borrowed half an hour before the library closes, and are due back within an hour after the library opens the next day.

Bookings for overnight loan can be made via phone on 9349 8420, email or in person at the loans desk. You must present your student card if booking in person or provide your student ID and barcode if booking via phone or email. A maximum of two items per patron may be booked at any one time. Also note that bookings can only be made on the day you wish to borrow.

Occasionally, students may wish to book items on reserve to take to an open book exam. Please let the staff at the loans desk know when collecting a booked item for an exam so that the correct due date and time is given to the item. Overdue penalties apply for late return of reserve items.
