The Career Management Centre
aims to provide students with knowledge,
skills and contacts to assist in job hunting. Additionally, regular workshops on career research and interview techniques are offered
during the year.

MyCareer.com.au is maintained by The Age newspaper and is one of the best sources for
job vacancies in Australia. The library also subscribes to the print copy of
The Age, and the employment section of The Saturday Age is a comprehensive source for both professional and
other wide-ranging positions.
The latest issue is kept in the reading lounge in the library.

The weekend edition of The Straits Times (Singapore) is a useful source for job vacancies in the Asian
region.
Please ask staff at the loans desk for the latest issue.

Arcadia, the collection of electronic databases to which the library subscribes
gives access to company annual reports; financial, economic and trade data; industry news and intelligence; and articles from
magazines, peer reviewed academic journals and major national newspapers.
Use Arcadia to keep up to date with industry trends, to identify key
personnel in the company you wish to work for, to identify a company's
competitors, and much more - an excellent source to consult when preparing
for job applications and interviews.
