Access

Access and borrowing entitlements to the MBS Library are restricted as indicated below, and library staff may request any person entering the McLennan to produce a current staff or student ID card, or other form of personal identification.

The MBS Library comprises the McLennan Library located at Carlton and the Reading Room collection located at the Mt Eliza campus.

The Mt Eliza Reading Room is not a library. The Reading Room is accessible only to members of MBS.

However, Mt Eliza material may be made available to non-MBS students and staff, subject to the access and borrowing conditions specified below. Requests for Mt Eliza collection items may be lodged at the McLennan Library but please note that a minimum 24 hours notice will be required before the item may be made available.

•  ancillary personnel as approved by the Chief Librarian

•  masters students  [Masters (by course work) borrowing rights will become effective from September the 1st, 2007]

•  Ph.D. students

•  CAVAL:

•  we regret that the Library is not open to members of the public.

COURTESY ACCESS TO THE COLLECTION:

•  all Melbourne Business School non-subscribing alumni

•  participants attending events or programs held at the Carlton or Mt Eliza campuses.

The Library may restrict the use of its facilities, resources and services to any authorized users in order to maintain appropriate levels of service for its primary clients, as specified in the Library rules.
