The McLennan Library strives to deliver appropriate resources and services to support the teaching, research and information needs of all the staff of the Melbourne Business School.

It aims to achieve this by:

  • providing a first resort collection for all the texts and recommended reading materials needed to support the subjects taught at MBS
  • providing a comprehensive collection of quality management and business publishing output to support teaching and research
  • offering research and information inquiry support at all levels of research need.

We look forward to working with you, and encourage you to let us know how we can improve on our service delivery. We welcome all suggestions and feedback either in person, by phone or by email to informationsupport@mbs.edu

The McLennan Library and the University of Melbourne

Operating as a discrete and independent library within the University of Melbourne, the MBS Library manages its own collection of books, journals, videos, databases and other resources, and operates its own services to the school community.

As a staff member of the School, you have entitlements to all university library collections, including those of the McLennan Library and those of the university libraries on the main campus.

Additionally, as faculty of MBS, you have access to the McLennan Library's suite of electronic databases which are to be found in the Arcadia suite of online resources, as well as those contained in the University's SuperSearch service.
